Azure Authorisation

Follow these steps to authorise an SMTP or POP3 mailbox.

  1. On the SMTP or POP3 configuration page, press Authorise.The AUTHORISE button, showing the grey question-mark icon it carries before an authorisation has been made
  2. IMan opens a pop-up window at the Office 365 sign-in page.
  3. Sign in as the email account that will send mail (for SMTP) or whose mailbox IMan will read (for POP3).Microsoft's own sign-in page opened in a browser, headed Pick an account, offering the already signed-in account or Use another account. The account name and the request's client id are redacted
  4. If authorisation succeeds, the browser shows a success page.The OAuth Authorisation Result page returned to the browser: a green tick beside Success, and the line "You may close the window."
