Readers

IMan can import data in the following formats: CSV, Excel, Fixed Width Text, XML, JSON, form-encoded data and any ODBC or OleDB compliant database.

The CSV, Excel, Fixed Width, XML and JSON readers read from a file, an HTTP URL, an email or a field of the parent record. The Form URL Reader reads from a field or a file. The Database, WebAPI and Parameter readers each have a source of their own. See which transforms offer which controller.

Pull Connectors

Connector readers let you query an external application or service for data. Typical pull connectors are CRM, eCommerce or other webservices.

CSV Reader

Reads files of character-separated values from an email, a file or HTTP.

Database Reader

Queries any ODBC or OleDB compliant data source.

Excel Reader

Reads Excel 97-2003 and Excel 2007 onwards files from an email, a file or HTTP.

Fixed Width Reader

Reads files with a set number of fields, in a fixed width column format.

Form URL Reader

Reads form-encoded key/value pairs from a webservice request or a file.

JSON Reader

Reads JSON from an HTTP URL, a file, an email or a field of the parent record.

Parameter Reader

Supplies the date of the integration's last successful run and its job id.

WebAPI Reader

The entry point for an integration that exposes an API endpoint.

XML Reader

Reads XML files using XPath expressions.
