There are two types:

Example

*[email protected]*

This matches any data that contains this email address, whatever characters surround it.

The Question Mark (?)

The question mark (?) matches a single character.

Example

Order? matches "Order" followed by exactly ONE character.

Both Used Together

Example

?Orders* matches any email attachment named "Orders" with exactly ONE character before it and ANY number of characters after it.
