FTP tests successful but then gives errors when accessing via transformation (4 replies)
wmbtaylor1, have you tried altering the Connection type to Passive or Extended Passive?
Thanks
Yes - Tried every possible combination.
And we upgraded to the latest version of iMan to see if it would resolve the issue and it did not.
This is now fixed in 4.2 PU2.

We are trying to pass files via FTP to one of our providers. When setting up the FTP connection if we choose SSH we get a successful connection however when we run the transformation we get this error message:
ChilkatVersion - 9.5.0.72,
Architecture - Little Endian; 32-bit, Language - .NET 2.0, VerboseLogging - 1, login - [juiceplus], info - Component successfully unlocked using purchased unlock code., login - , svcName - ssh-userauth, SentServiceReq - ssh-userauth, info - ssh-userauth service accepted., AuthMethods - publickey,keyboard-interactive, info - Password is empty. Choosing keyboard-interactive login instead., info - Sent keyboard-interactive request, numPrompts - 1, prompt - Password: , echo - 0, info - Sending password..., info - Sent keyboard-interactive response., partialSuccess - 0, authList - publickey,keyboard-interactive, error - keyboard-interactive authentication failed (A), error - Failed.,
If we remove the SSH connection (vendor says it is not needed) and try the transformation we get this:
ChilkatVersion - 9.5.0.72,
Architecture - Little Endian; 32-bit, Language - .NET 2.0, VerboseLogging - 0, enabled - yes, heartbeatMs - 0, sendBufferSize - 65536, ImplicitSsl - 0, AuthTls - 0, AuthSsl - 0, Hostname - ..com, Port - 22, IdleTimeoutMs - 10000, SO_SNDBUF - 262144, SO_RCVBUF - 4194304, TCP_NODELAY - 1, SO_KEEPALIVE - 1, replyLineQP - SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_8.0, error - Invalid 1st response line -- no status code., initialStatus - 0, initialResponse - SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_8.0 , error - Failed to connect to FTP server., error - Failed.,
The vendor swears SSH is not necessary. We have another system that we use to push files and it has no problems connecting and making the transfer but I don't want to have so many moving parts to this process.
Any thoughts?
