Using the sample sage300 SAMLTD O/E, issue with access rights to (3 replies)
This sounds like it is possibly a Sage 300 System Connector that needs to be edited. Go to SETUP then SYSTEM CONNECTORS. Find the one being used by your transform and edit it with the correct details of the Sage 300 user. password and company ID.
Paul, several things:
- As Steve mentioned, go to Setup, System Connectors, find the relevant entry and confirm the entered details are correct.
- If you're still experiencing issues. Where is the Sage300 Shared Data located? Is it local or remote?
- If it is local, do the Local System account has access?
- If it is remote, the Shared Data must be setup as a UNC path.
Each of these are discussed in the Sage300 User Manual & for security issues the Admin Guide (Start, Programs, Realisable IMan, Docs & Training)
Thanks

I get a message box when I double click on transform definition says " Error whilst loading transform definition, Error - invalid signon Information, Make sure you supply the correct user ID and Password."?
I assume this means the sage 300 DB?
Currently we do not use domain name users and passwords to sign onto sage 300. Is this an issue to being able to use iMan with the sage 300 ERP system? Should we consider using Domain name users? or is there a way to set up iMan with the appropriate user access to Sage 300.?
In the setup the access to the SAMLTD has been validated. So I can only assume that it must be a user id. if that is the case how do I add a sage 300 user id to iMan?
