Order Import - DataService Session Incurred an Error (5 replies)
UPDATE: I believe the error is being caused by activating Orchid Inter Entity. In my tests, the order import functioned FINE in the Sample Company when Inter Entity was not activated. I then activated Inter Entity and the same behavior happened with the data service error. Deleting the row in the CSAPP table that has "OE" for the selector and "IY" for the program ID resolves the error. Do you want to connect with me to review this?
Hi Michael,
Did you ever manage to get this working with IY?
Mary, I know this was elevated to Sage...let me chase Orchid for the status.
Orchid have said:
"The issue is with Sage as it is really an issue with the way Sage are dealing with subclass entries when importing transactions. ... if you are not using IET Trade OE to PO, you can remove the IY Subclass entry in the CSAPPS for OE. Once Sage get to the bottom of the error, and correct it – we can add it in again."
I don't like our chances of Sage changing the way they do things, but this does give us a workaround for now.

I am attempting to import orders into a test company in Sage 300 ERP and I am receiving the following errors.
I am able to import orders in Sample Company Inc. without any problems. I am also able to import AR Invoices in the test company without issue. It is only when I attempt to import orders into the test company that I receive this error. The IMAN user has admin permissions in the test company. I noticed the IMAN user hangs up in Sage when trying to process the orders into the test company. Once I receive this error, I have to end the task for the Integration Engine DLL, because no transforms seem to function after (e.g., excel data read). I also have received a null exception in the data service as part of this process.
