Invalid Signon Information. Make sure you supply the correct User ID and Password. (5 replies)
I had followed the recommendations from this post:https://www.realisable.co.uk/sage-300/using-the-sample-sage300-samltd-oe-issue-with-access-rights-to/In this case, the Sage 300 Shared Data is remote so we set it up as a UNC path. (See the screenshot for reference). But we still see the invalid signon Information error.
Has there been a resolution? I am seeing this issue at a site today. The last couple of weeks I have seen their IT make changes to the user assigned to the services...I am leaning towards this being the culprit, but I am curious if there is something else.
-Thanks
My entire error is below...I don't see a G drive mapped on the server unless this is a program reference.
You must supply the correct User ID, Password and Database ID to open a session.

Restarting the server seemed to resolve the issue.

I noticed this issue is common for user accounts that don't have the required read/write permissions. I am trying to directly log in to the Sage company via IMan. I am able to log in to that Sage company through Sage 300 on that same machine but cannot do so using IMan with the same credentials. I tried to enable the data and scheduling services for my user account in IMan Admin Console > Permissions but I'm still seeing the same error when I try to connect to the Sage company using the Sage 300 connector. I'm guessing my user account still doesn't have the read/write permissions required to use the connector. Or else there's something else I'm missing?
