[RECORD[1]] could not be found in document. Corrupted Job? (7 replies)
Sorry - here is a zip file with all 4 files included in it.
Can you send Errors.txt
Here you go!
Sue, now I see!
You have a DB Reader which is actually not doing anything or empty (it doesn't have any definition). Just delete this and the job will spring into action.
Thanks
So... visually, on the screen in Iman, I don't have an extra Reader. I think the XML file got corrupted somehow and I'm not really sure how to fix it without making more of a mess. Can you look at the XML file and tell me what I can delete - if that's how I can fix it? (I've updated the job since we started this conversation, so if you can walk me thru the fix, that would be far more helpful than just fixing the XML for me that I sent you...) Thanks!
Sue, what's happened is that you have the Excel Reader on exactly the same coordinates at the DB Reader.
If you move the Excel Reader you will be able to delete the DB Reader sitting underneath.
Crazy! that was it - thanks so much ! I would have never thought of that!
I have a job for a client who is currently on Iman v3.21 PU1. the job takes an excel file reads it, manipulates it and posts it to Sage 300 as an open AP invoice batch. I was having trouble with my excel file initially because it's an export from a website and the titles for the export duplicate. So, for example, column C, G, and X are all titled CreatedDate. I tried changing this to a csv, and tried deleting the first row/titles. Ultimately, I told the excel reader that there were no titles in the excel file and I then filtered out the first row of data. This worked great. Everything runs smoothly when I step through the job in testing. But when I actually run the job as a scheduled event -- it performs every step of the job and then at the end throws an error: [RECORD[1]] could not be found in document.
I'm wondering if all of my initial testing (changing the first step/event in the job in and out a few times) may have corrupted something? The job runs fine, but I'd like to remove the error so I only get an error email when something actually does go wrong.
I'm attaching a screen shot of the error from the scheduler screen, the xml file for the job, a snapshot of the email error sent to me, and the original excel file I'm trying to import. Please let me know if you see what I'm doing wrong. Thanks much!
