Counter adding hyphen (9 replies)
Randy, I think when you have Evaluate enabled, a hyphen is added automatically.
This, however doesn't occur when you actually call the GetCounterSequence function.
We'll log this for fixing.
Thanks
In this case an evaluate was not checked, I included a screenshot of the datatable.
The first sequence was WEB-0001, but after that it was correct: WEB0002, WEB0003, etc.
I don't think screenshot was added.
Found a better screenshot that may help you to replicate my situation.
I entered in all of the settings you see. Then I saved the Counter and re-opened it.
This is the view I saw after re-opening.
Randy, try entering the start number as 1.
Thanks

This is still happening, even when you don't enable "Evaluate".
Let me know if you need more details, but I cannot create even a basic counter without this error happening.
Hello? Do you guys need help replicating?
Going by the documentation, you can create sequences of "WEB000009019", "WEB000009020"... by setting the Prefix to "WEB", and the total counter length to 12.
I tried to create sequences of "WEB0001", "WEB0002"... by setting the Prefix to "WEB" and the total counter length to 7.
When I did this, the next Counter Sequence is "WEB-0001". A hyphen appears to have been added which doesn't agree with the documentation.
