4.0 - Issue exporting to Excel - freezing/ timeout (1 reply)
Sorry - that was a bad screenshot - I was playing around with testing xls versus xlsx and excel versions... Here is an accurate screenshot of the setup for that Excel export step... (I have another iman job that has very similar settings for the export - it just exports using the 97-2003 and xls file / template. So I tried that with this job - no luck. it still times out. )
We migrated a client from v3.2 on one iman virtual to v4 on a new iman virtual. When I step thru one of my jobs, one of the steps exports to excel (that excel file is then sent via email to someone). The creation of the excel file in preview (and when you schedule the job) is hanging. It creates the first excel file, but not the second one. We get a timeout error. Nothing has changed about the job. I have verified all file locations exist and have permissions. I have opened and verified the excel template file i'm using works. The first export file it creates opens just fine - everything looks good. But it refuses to create the second file. Changing to the older version of excel doesn't help either. I've tested in both firefox and chrome.
Here is the error message. See attached screenshot of my setup for the iman export screen.

3 This request operation sent to net.tcp://localhost:8996/IntManData/ did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:00:30). The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. This may be because the service is still processing the operation or because the service was unable to send a reply message. Please consider increasing the operation timeout (by casting the channel/proxy to IContextChannel and setting the OperationTimeout property) and ensure that the service is able to connect to the client.
