We've introduced a sage 3rd party POS system “Info Central” to us (http://sage.infocentral.com.au), and we are under consideration to purchase this system. It uses “SQL Anywhere V11” as database engine. I would like to know if IMan software can read/write this type of database directly in your DBreader?

Jimmy, yes, any database which can be connected with via an ODBC or OleDB connection string is valid.

I have checked SQL Anywhere...here are the connection strings.

I would strongly recommend you test this first....but it should be ok.
