How to raise an error in a script Task (1 reply)

Is there any way we could force the job to halt somehow from within the script? Like if the task fails ideally I don’t want it to continue but I can’t examine the output. I have some hacky ideas I can try but I thought you might have a more proper way.

Chris, yes you can.

Use the Err.Raise method per the two screenshots.

Also, see below the following link for use of the Err.Raise method.
