Step 6 – Create Shipment Charges

In this step you chain several transforms together to reshape the order data.

The workbook carries three shipment charges — assembly, two-man delivery and carriage — plus the customer's comment, as columns on the order header. Sage 200 needs them as order lines. No single transform can do that, so you chain three:

• 6.1 – Map Transform
  • To add fields to the dataset.
• 6.2 – Aggregate Transform
  • To 'move' additional charges from the order header record to their own detail records.
• 6.3 – Filter Transform
  • To perform some clean up of empty fields.
