4.1 - Order Detail Attempt to change read-only field 'Optional Fields' (2 replies and 1 comment)
Randy, it's most probably because you have a field mapping which is not setting fields correctly (not enabling the Optional Fields control/property).
Can you send a screenshot of the preview so we can see the field mapping?
I was getting this same error today and it turned out there were not items on the order and it was giving this error. Pretty silly error if you ask me, but hey - Sage.
I just wanted to add that this error code sometimes appears if you attempt an order import where the Miscellaneous Charges Code in OrderDetail is not set to a value.
When attempting an order import I ran into the following error, which I believe is directly from Sage:
"Order Detail Attempt to change read-only field 'Optional Fields'"
After doing some research I've found similar errors, but nothing which mentions the "read-only field 'Optional Fields'". The only mappings I have on the Order Detail level are for the fields "Pricing Unit Price", "Quantity Ordered", "Item", "Miscellaneous Charges Code", "Extended Amount", "Line Type" and "Allocate Serial/Lot Numbers"
