Iman v4.2 PU5 - scheduling screen doesn't size correctly (4 replies)

I just upgrade one of my iman servers from v4.1 to v4.2 PU5. when I run a job manually from the scheduling screen in chrome, the results screen doesn't size properly - some of the columns that show what's happening as the job runs are running off the right size of the screen - make it difficult to see if the jobs completed successfully. i've tried changing moving the vertical bar in the middle of the screen to change the width. I've tried changing the view size in chrome, and I've changed the display size on the server. Nothing seems to work. is there an easy fix for this? The users tend to rely the results screen to verify that everything has gone according to plan and right now they are left guessing if it worked.

Thanks!

Do you have a screenshot?

Well that was crazy. I've attached a screenshot. We have verified the following:

  • this only occurs on the virtual iman server. if a user runs it from their workstation, it works fine.
  • this only occurs for a specific windows user (the one that we are using for our iman permissions) - if we login to the virtual as another user, everything works fine.
  • This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the display settings/resolution on the virtual (regardless of the user this was set to 1920x1080) or how we connect to the server - we tried vmware, the regular rdp icon and Windows remote desktop services.

This client has 2 iman servers. This iman server is using Iman version 4.26. (4.2 PU5) Windows 2016 server.

There other server (that is not having the problem when we login as the same iman user) is using Iman version 4.25 (4.2 PU4) also Windows 2016.

Two potential causes/remedies.

  1. You have a dual screen monitor...or the session you're connecting to is dual screen.
  2. The CSS Cache is out of date - Try performing a hard refresh of the broswer. Press Ctrl + F5 (or the Ctrl + the reload button).

The Ctrl + F5 worked brilliantly. thank you!
