IMan 5.1 install - Could not load ChillkatDotNet47.dll (10 replies)
Note: This is on the server which you have access to if you wanted to see it firsthand.
Also: I tried repair, as well as an uninstall & install, and in both cases we got the same error.
Randy, you should uninstall all versions.
Then install the latest version.
Yes, I uninstalled and then ran the installer and got the same error.
Attempted again twice and got same results.
I forgot to mention I received an error during installation about being unable to start the Scheduler service. This is one of the last steps so I did not think it was related.
Installed Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2017 32-bit and attempted another installation.
This time I did not receive the Scheduler service error, but after restarting I'm still getting the Chillkat error.
.NET 4.8 is not currently installed, so I'm installing that.
According to your documentation, the installer was supposed to check for 4.8 and throw an error if it's missing. That didn't happen.
Still not working even after installing 4.8. Same error
Did one more uninstall and install for good measure, and now I'm getting the Scheduler service error again.
VC 2017 C++ Runtime 32-bit was installed
NET 4.8 framework installed
User error, VC 2017 C++ Runtime was 64-bit
Just did an upgrade from 4.26 to 5.1 and every time I open the Admin Console I get an error about the system not being able to find ChillkatDotNet47.dll.
Additionally, all of the IMan database settings were wiped out (please see screenshot)
The Scheduler Service and the Log service will not start.
Attempting to start the Scheduler Services (through Windows, not IMan) yields: "Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start."
Attempting to start the Log Service (also through Windows, not IMan) yields: "Log Service started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"
