U4GM Diablo 4 Pit Farming Guide for Spiritborn (No replies)

If you're building Spiritborn for Season 13, Rushing Claw is the one that makes the class feel almost unfair. It's not a stand-still-and-channel setup. You're moving, cutting through packs, leaving poison behind, then already halfway to the next room. The gear does a lot of the heavy lifting here, so getting the right D4 items early changes the build from "pretty quick" to full-on Pit farming mode. What stands out most is how damage and travel feed each other. You don't slow down to survive. You survive because you don't slow down.

Gear That Makes the Build Click

The key piece is Harmony of Ebewaka. Without it, the setup loses a huge part of its identity. The helm lets your skills count across multiple Spirit types, which means Jaguar, Eagle, Gorilla, and Centipede tags start working together instead of sitting in separate lanes. That matters for damage scaling, but also for how clean the Paragon side feels later on. The extra Dexterity, Maximum Life, and Resolve support aren't just nice bonuses either. In higher Pit tiers, those stats keep the build from feeling paper-thin.

Poison Pressure and the Jade Glaive

Jade Glaive of Infestation is where the build gets nasty. You're not only hitting enemies as you pass through them. Pestilent Swarms keep working after you've moved on, turning grouped mobs into ticking poison targets. That's why the build farms so well. You don't have to babysit every pack until the last monster drops. Tag them, dash through, let the damage over time finish the job. Players usually want these priorities on the weapon and surrounding gear.

  • High Dexterity to push both scaling and consistency.
  • Maximum Life so mistakes don't instantly end a run.
  • Damage over Time bonuses for stronger poison cleanup.
  • General damage multipliers that boost every part of the rotation.

Why Kwatlis Grace Feels So Fast

Kwatlis Grace is the reason Rushing Claw doesn't play like a normal melee build. The movement speed bonus is huge on its own, but the real value is what happens while you're travelling. You gain damage reduction as you move, Eagle Skills hit harder, and covering distance helps reduce cooldowns. That's a very player-friendly loop. Run forward, trigger more power, get tools back sooner, and keep chaining packs. After a few runs, standing still starts to feel wrong. Even boss fights become more about circling, repositioning, and keeping the damage window alive than planting your feet.

Skills, Paragon, and Pit Farming

The build still needs control, especially when elites start stacking ugly affixes. Vortex with Knock Down gives you breathing room by dropping enemies long enough for poison and burst damage to land safely. Counterattack also helps more than people expect, since reduced damage over time taken can save a run in high-tier content. On Paragon, Menagerist is the obvious star. Because Harmony of Ebewaka applies multiple Spirit tags, the glyph ramps quickly and keeps your overall damage climbing. Once Dexterity pushes beyond the 2,100 range, the build starts deleting Tier 100+ Pit packs at a pace that feels built for farming. If you're tuning gear or comparing upgrades through sources like Diablo IV Items for sale, focus on keeping speed, poison scaling, and survivability balanced rather than chasing one big number.
