Step 6 – Create Shipment Charges

In this step you chain several transforms together to reshape the data.

The workbook carries three shipment charges (assembly, two-man delivery and carriage) as columns on the order header. Sage 300 needs them as order lines. No single transform does that, so you chain three:

• 6.1 - Map Transform
  • To add fields to the dataset.
• 6.2 - Aggregate Transform
  • To 'move' additional charges from the order header record to their own detail records.
• 6.3 - Filter Transform
  • To remove the charge records that have no value.
