Memory¶

Minimum 8GB; recommended 16GB. Actual requirement depends on job complexity and dataset size.

Required .NET Version¶

.NET Framework 4.8. Windows Server 2016 and 2019 do not include it. Install it from Windows Update or from Microsoft's offline installer before you install IMan.

The installer adds the .NET 8 runtimes. See What the Installer Adds.

Roles¶

Web Server (IIS)¶

The installer turns on the role services IMan needs when they are missing. To turn them on before you install, select them under Web Server (IIS) in the Add Roles and Features Wizard:

Health and Diagnostics: HTTP Logging
Security: Request Filtering
Application Development: Application Initialization
Management Tools: IIS Management Console
