creating A Journal Entry

To create a journal entry set (at minimum) the following fields:

Document Header

  • Journal - The Journal Type
  • Batch Date - The batch/entry date.

Entry Detail

  • AccountNo - The GL Account Number.
  • Tr Type - Flag to indicate if the detail is a debit or credit - 1 for debit and -1 for credit.
  • Trx_Amount - The line amount.

Split (Optional)

  • AccountNo - The GL Account Number.
  • One or more dimensions must be mapped to split an entry.

Writeback Fields
recordno Record Number/Journal Id.
