Writeback Fields

Each of the supported types (see below) support a number of fields which are captured from the Sage300 ERP views on import and be optionally written back to the IMan dataset.

Typically these fields are auto-assigned Document/Transaction Numbers, line numbers and document & batch totals.

‘Writeback’ fields are typically used for display on the audit report, updating status tables and for follow-on/subsequent transactions.

Some writeback fields such as Batch Total, Batch Number are read-only (like Sage). If a field is set mapped to one of these fields the value will be overwritten when the transaction is successfully completed by IMan.

Others such as Order or Document Numbers can be both read and write. If the field is populated the connector will use the value of the field. If the field is empty, the auto-generated value will be written by IMan to the field when the transaction is successfully completed.
