Error Log continuously growing (while no jobs running) (1 reply)
I have a question I was hoping someone here could help me with. I have run a fairly large import job into Sage 300 using Iman 4.11. The job completed successfully but moments later said the job failed and aborted. When I looked inside the Iman/Debug/Errors.txt file I saw a lot of instances of this error “Out of storage space”. I have a lot of drive space free so I am not certain what type of storage it could mean.
I have also noticed that Errors.txt keeps growing bigger with every passing second, despite no jobs being run at the time. I see there are entries here for Xml.Wrapper() methods which I can only assume is something from Iman (and perhaps these internal methods keep triggering and failing causing the errors file to swell)?
Attempting to delete the errors log gives me a message saying that it is in use by Windows Defender Service. Another time I have seen this error is when attempting to switch the Sage 300 Connector from my live instance to my test instance.
Any advice you can offer on this would be greatly appreciated.
The Out of storage space is a misnomer....this is a low-level windows error.
The integration is failing when it's sending the audit report.
We've found this error when there have been windows updates....just restart the server to resolve the problem.
