How do I read the response from a JSON POST request? (2 replies)
John, what version of IMan?
Version 4.1.
After I posted my question I saw that some documentation changes are in the works. There are some fields in the UI that are not currently documented, that look like they might be designed to manage responses. Could I get a preview of that documentation?
I am posting JSON data to a REST API to create sales orders. The API returns a JSON-formatted response which I can read when testing with Postman:
[{"OrderId": "20190315f",
"Wppsono": 457794,
"Comment": "Web Order 457794 created for Posted Order 20190315f.",
"Authentication": null,
"Error": false,
"Message": "Web Order 457794 created for Posted Order 20190315f.",
etc..
I can post the JSON using IMan, but I do not see a way to pick up this response string (or any response at all, for that matter).
I need to read the response because it contains important information for the client application. How can I read it?
