How can I ignore/suppress certain blank rows in an Excel reader? (2 replies)
Hi Arline,
There is no way to do this directly in the reader. After the data is in IMan you can filter the row before it reaches your map using the filter transform.
Note however that this will only work for blank cells in a row, as your screenshot shows. The excel reader will terminate reading a file at the first actual blank row it finds.
Great, yes, the filter transform worked perfectly. I added a filter to only keep rows where %NetInvoiceAmount 0.
Thanks!
Greetings all,
I've got an Excel read task followed by a mapping task. I'd like to ignore lines in the spreadsheet that don't have a value in the column for Net Invoice Amount, but I'm not sure how. Any suggestions? An example of what those rows would look like are attached.
Thanks in advance,
Arline
